Monika Bargmann
Monika is the Data Stewardess for the Faculty of Philological and Cultural Studies at the University of Vienna. A passionate librarian, she has a background in German Literary Studies and Urban & Regional Development, is professionally interested in web archiving and metadata, and personally enjoys Star Trek, forestry, and cats.
Eva Gergely
Eva is a project manager and team lead at the department IT Support for Research at the Vienna University Computer Center. With a background in comparative literature and information technology, Eva’s focus lies on promoting modern and FAIR (research) data management practices.
Maria Guseva
Maria is a member of the team PHAIDRA-Services at the University of Vienna and is assigned to the project “Shared RDM Services and Infrastructure”. She completed her PhD in Modern and Contemporary History. Currently her main focus lies on research data management.
Claudia Hackl
Claudia works at the intersection of Open Education and Open Science, supporting higher education institutions in Austria in implementing Open Educational Resources (OER) and developing strategies for upskilling. As part of the Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Vienna, she is responsible for advancing OER infrastructure and services in collaboration with various departments, leveraging her background in didactics, informatics, and library science.
Barbara Heindl
Barbara is head of communications at the Vienna University Library. With degrees in Literature & Library and Information Science, she has been working in libraries for several years. One of her main focuses is user research and the organization of events such as hackathons and formats for science communication.
Sylvia Nechvatal
Sylvia works in the communications department at the Vienna University Library. After studying German Philology, she worked in several departments of the library and is primarily responsible for planning various events.
Bernhard Schubert
Bernhard is deputy head of the Open Access Office at the University of Vienna and has been active in the Open Access movement in Austria and beyond since 2015. His main interest currently lies in the area of scholar-led Diamond OA publishing.
Thanu Thieng
Thanu is a member of the Research Service of the University of Vienna. He supports researchers in writing, planning and budgeting applications for third-party funding. His main focus is on national funding agencies such as FWF, WWTF, and ÖAW.
